What is a Notice of Acceptance (NOA)?

An NOA is Miami-Dade County's approval certificate for roofing products that have passed HVHZ testing. Before any roofing material can be legally installed in Miami-Dade, it must have an active, valid NOA.

Current Miami-Dade code requires roofing systems to handle 175 mph wind loads. Many older homes have roofs installed to lower standards.
